3. Location Information
The Vital Team mobile application collects location information only for authorized employees performing official field duties.
Location tracking begins only after the employee explicitly taps the Start Journey button within the application.
During an active journey, the application may continue collecting location information while running in the foreground or background to accurately record the employee’s travel route, even when the application is minimized or the device screen is locked.
Location tracking automatically stops when:
- The employee taps End Journey.
- The planned journey end time is reached.
Location information is used solely for legitimate business purposes, including:
- Employee journey tracking.
- Field activity monitoring.
- Journey history and reporting.
- Attendance verification.
- Administrative review of official field activities.
Location information is never used for advertising, marketing, profiling, or sold to third parties.

Journey tracking starts only after the employee explicitly taps the Start Journey button and stops automatically when the journey ends or when the employee manually taps End Journey.
